Music Therapy Services of New Jersey is proud to be a provider of Sprouting Melodies Early Childhood Music Groups!
At Sprouting Melodies, we cater to newborns, infants, babies, toddlers, siblings and preschoolers using songs, instruments and movement to encourage musical, social, physical, and emotional growth and learning.
A development-orientated program, Sprouting Melodies was founded by a Board Certified Music Therapist and Early Intervention Developmental Specialist with a passion for helping busy, multitasking families like yours ensure a fun, target-rich learning environment where children can explore, play and grow as they learn priceless socialization skills.
And because class sizes are limited, you and your child(ren) will receive the attention you deserve.
“Since August 2014, Erika’s Sprouting Melodies family music class has become an essential part of our quality family time. Every Saturday, our children look forward to playing instruments, singing and grooving along to these easy to learn songs. We often use what we learn in class at home to ease our children through transitions between tasks, or just to fill in gaps during down time. The lyrics are easily adjustable to fit any task and lend themselves to simple substitutions. For example, we use the melody of “Gather Round”, to wash our hands. We’ve brought our improvisations from home back to Erika who willingly accepted them into class. We are very pleased with what Erika offers our family and we recommend her service to any developing family; you will not be disappointed.”
In the comfort of your own home, I will work with you to learn developmentally based music and techniques that you can use with your child(red) at home, in the car, at the store, or any time you want to make music. You will learn how you can use music to bond with your child(ren) and support their overall development.
